Klein, Agil, Lisbeth, and Silica join Asuna, supported by hundreds of ALO players responding to Yui's request, to repel enemy forces. Simultaneously, at the Ocean Turtle, Higa devises a method to restore Kirito's Fluctlight with assistance from his friends. This requires accessing the main control room, currently held by invaders, prompting a plan to create a distraction for undetected passage. In the Underworld, Bercoulli is mortally wounded by Vecta but defeats him before dying. Alice awakens beside his body as his soul departs, requesting Fanatio care for their unborn child. With the Vecta character disabled, Miller instructs Critter to convert a character from his personal account to return to the Underworld and resume his objectives.
