Ep. 9: Maximum acceleration phase starts as Kirito fails to log out with Alice

The maximum-acceleration phase has commenced within the system. Alice manages to successfully log out of the Underworld, but Kirito is unable to do so in time. In the real world, Higa and Kikuoka rush to shut down the STL in an attempt to disable the maximum-acceleration phase, but their efforts face unexpected complications.
