While searching for AO Crystals, Kanata and Tokio are caught in the rain and decide to take refuge in the nearby gambling city of Baccarat Nest. Inside the establishment, they encounter a solitary Magus singing in the lounge. This individual is identified as Ciel, a character previously encountered by Noir when Range attempted to abduct her. The group finds themselves in this unfamiliar urban environment, where the unexpected meeting with Ciel adds a layer of prior history to their current situation amidst the rainy weather and the distinct atmosphere of the gambling district.
