Ep. 1: Kantaro Releases the Black Goblin to Rescue a Noblewoman from the Icicle Woman

While traveling to a temple in the Japanese countryside, Kantaro finds the resting place of a demon-eating goblin. He successfully frees the creature and names it Haruka, thereby becoming its master. The newly formed pair must then rush to save a young noble woman from a dangerous entity known as the Icicle Woman. This sequence of events establishes the bond between Kantaro and Haruka as they confront the threat posed by the Icicle Woman in their immediate journey.
