Takara-sagashi

A nine-minute short film, shown exclusively at the Ghibli Museum in Mitaka, is based on a picture book by Rieko Nakagawa and Yuriko Yamawaki. The story features a boy named Yuji and his rabbit friend, Gick, who discover a walking stick. To determine who should keep it, they compete in a foot race, a long jump, and a sumo wrestling match, all of which end in a draw. Unable to find another solution, the two visit Gick's Granny for advice. She suggests they go treasure hunting to settle the dispute.
