In response, the Seigaku duo unlocks a new synchronized state to counter the pressure. Despite this breakthrough, Hyotei secures the victory. The match concludes when Kikumaru intentionally stops Oishi from striking the ball, prioritizing the protection of Oishi’s injured wrist over continuing play and risking further damage.
