Ep. 12: Wein outmaneuvers Sirgis through threats of refugee influx and poison claims to secure peace.

Sirgis attempts to donate Marden land to the Levetian church for Elite status. Wein counters by offering to assassinate Gruyere, warning that Soljest’s growth will trigger war with Natra and Delunio. When Sirgis arrogantly accepts Natran refugees post-war, Wein declares that Natra’s 800,000 citizens will immediately relocate to Delunio. Recalling Mealtars’ 30,000 citizens, Sirgis panics. Wein further claims clothing sold via Marden contained slow-acting poison, threatening Delunio’s populace. Outmaneuvered, Sirgis surrenders, costing him political standing. Gruyere is imprisoned in Natra and agrees to peace terms after questioning Wein’s motives, shocking and amusing him. The following day, Ninym notes that peace has depleted Natra’s wealth and damaged relations with the Levetian church. Wein throws a tantrum, realizing his plan to sell Natra is further away than ever, requiring significant effort to rectify.
