Sylpha appears to be gaining the upper hand against a group of bearwolves. However, the demon Pazuzu intervenes by releasing a toxic miasma. This substance causes the surrounding knights to collapse. Even Sylpha and Tao are rendered unable to fight back. With the other combatants incapacitated, Lloyd finally decides to make his move. The situation shifts as the demon's attack neutralizes the immediate threat posed by the beast pack, leaving Lloyd as the only active participant in the conflict.
