Necromancer Esther Rosenthal is chased by DA agents into Heaven Canceller's Hospital. She enters Accelerator's room and attempts to gain his attention but fails. The DA members capture her. Accelerator, who was reading and deflecting sound, initially ignores the commotion. However, he notices a photograph of Last Order in Esther's possession. This discovery prompts him to seek answers and engage in combat with the DA members pursuing her.
