Kamijou Touma successfully removes the magical danger threatening Index’s life, but the effort results in the complete erasure of his memories. Following this incident, Stiyl Magnus receives orders from his superior to collaborate with the amnesiac Kamijou. Together, they are assigned a new mission to locate an entity known as Deep Blood. This partnership forces the two to work closely despite their differing backgrounds and the significant personal loss Kamijou has suffered. The narrative focuses on their joint investigation and the challenges they face while trying to uncover the truth behind Deep Blood, all while Kamijou navigates his life without his past memories.
