Subaru Sumeragi, the 13th head of the Sumeragi Clan and a powerful onmyouji, is hired to exorcise a construction site where his employer has mysteriously died. The primary suspect is a man who inexplicably survives situations that should have killed him. Subaru encounters a young woman determined to curse this man, claiming he murdered her brother. To uncover the truth behind his employer's death, Subaru must confront the evil spirits guarding the suspect. He receives assistance from his friend and twin sister, Seishirou Sakurazuka, and Hokuto Sumeragi, as they navigate the supernatural threats surrounding the case.
