Laura's grandfather creates an invention that inadvertently places Hamtaro in a difficult situation. Following this incident, Laura decides to leave her home. In response to her disappearance, the Ham-Hams join forces with Laura's grandfather to search for her. The group sets out together to locate Laura and resolve the issues stemming from the grandfather's recent creation.
