Ep. 9: Megatron fails to seize Planet Cup while Coby plans a town rescue

On Velocitron, Megatron attempts to locate the Planet Cup but faces insurmountable defenses. Meanwhile, the United States Secret Service monitors Coby, Bud, and Lori to gather intelligence on the Transformers. Their hometown is simultaneously endangered by an earthquake and flood resulting from a mining accident. Coby devises a rescue strategy inspired by Green Gloop to protect the community. In parallel developments on the Speed Planet, Ransack and Crumplezone inform Megatron that they have entered the Great Race. Hot Shot overhears this conversation and subsequently resolves to take responsibility for saving the Universe.
