A first-year student at Joshuu East High School, Yuu Azuma, is determined to become an idol and starts by assembling a group by recruiting one girl from each of four high schools in different regions. Her team includes Ranko Kashima, a second-year student from Holy Teneritas Southern Girls’ Academy, who has a curly hairstyle and admires Madame Butterfly; Kurumi Taiga, a student from West Tech Vocational High School who wears oversized jackets and aims to win a robotics competition; and Mika Kamei, a volunteer from Joshuu North High School known for her kindness. With support from Shinji Kudou, Yuu's collaborator, the group begins their path toward stardom. However, they face challenges, pressures, and obstacles that test their resolve and threaten to derail their efforts.
