Vash encounters Nicholas, a suspicious undertaker carrying a large cross. Before they can properly introduce themselves, a massive worm attacks the pair. The creature swallows Vash, Nicholas, and the building they are standing in. This sudden assault interrupts their initial meeting and traps them inside the creature's body along with the surrounding structure.
