Valkyrie crashes into Kazuto and transfers half of her soul to him. She decides to reside with him, but Akina and Rika disapprove of this arrangement. Meanwhile, Hydra arrives on Earth with the intention of retrieving Valkyrie and returning her to Valhalla. This sequence of events establishes a conflict between Valkyrie's new life with Kazuto and the demands of her origins, as external forces move to reclaim her presence.
