Sedna's increasing strength causes a mist to spread from the ocean, enveloping the entire town. Despite the growth in power achieved by Marin and Kanon, they find themselves unable to withstand the darkness infiltrating the hearts of the residents. The threat is indiscriminate, leaving characters such as Kojima, Suzuki, and Miyako vulnerable to its influence. With no one considered safe from this encroaching evil, the situation grows increasingly dire as the haze continues to obscure the town and deepen the despair within its inhabitants.
