Hakumen no Mono attempts to eliminate the youkai trapped within the barrier using poison, but Ushio and Tora remain shielded by their armors. Consequently, their final confrontation with Hakumen commences amidst the toxic environment. Despite the overwhelming number of attacks launched by Hakumen, Ushio persists in his combat efforts. However, the physical toll of repeatedly wielding the Beast Spear begins to manifest once more, threatening Ushio's ability to continue fighting. This intense struggle highlights the deteriorating condition of Ushio as he endures the relentless assault while protected only by his armor against the lethal fumes.
