Ushio travels to the stone pillar with the intention of rescuing his mother from the Hakumen no Mono. He enters the cave and approaches her silently, where she softly speaks his name. The pair shares a tender and heartwarming moment during their reunion. However, this peace is abruptly shattered by a loud, terrifying noise. Torpedoes manage to pierce through the protective barrier surrounding the area, leading to an unexpected and dangerous turn of events for the characters involved.
