Utawarerumono

A man with a mask he cannot take off and a past he cannot recall is discovered injured in a forest by a young girl named Eluluu, who helps him recover. He joins a desolate land inhabited by unusual creatures, where a vengeful deity, a tyrannical regime, and the threat of war exist. His people have made him their leader, and his survival is crucial to them. The story explores whether he can free those who saved him, recover his lost memories, or continue to be unknown even to himself.
