She requests that Toa and Mihiro serve as live models to help her overcome this creative block. Toa initially shows no interest in participating. However, Kaoruko persuades her by offering her favorite food as compensation for the modeling session. This arrangement allows Kaoruko to finalize the necessary illustrations for her work while providing an incentive for Toa to assist despite her initial reluctance.
