Wakakusa no Charlotte

A girl named Charlotte lives on a farm in Canada. On her 12th birthday, she learns her mother, whom she believed to be dead, is alive and will soon join them in Paris. Initially distressed, Charlotte begins to accept the change, but her father dies shortly after. Left to manage on her own, she learns her father was part of a noble family whose grandfather wants her to return. Unfamiliar with her mother, she also faces a landowner attempting to take over her father’s farm.
