Rina contacts Touya at night to offer a job assisting her manager, which he accepts to meet Yuki. Yuki subsequently invites him on a Saturday date, prompting Touya to ask Haruka to handle his university registration for that day. Upon arriving at work the next day, Touya discovers he has been promoted to Rina's assistant. Rina then reprimands both Touya and Yuki, seemingly attempting to create more time for their relationship. However, Touya soon receives calls revealing that his date has been canceled and he has been dismissed from his assistant role. He then accepts a position as a tutor for Mana Mizuki. When he arrives at Echoes, he learns that Eiji Ogata was the one who fired him.
