Narumi Momose, a 26-year-old fujoshi otaku, recently changed jobs to maintain a perfect lady image. Her plans fail when she reunites with middle school classmate Hirotaka Nifuji, a gamer otaku who knows her secret. They reconnect over alcohol, and Hirotaka promises to keep her secret, noting that love is hard for people perceived as abnormal. After her second workday, Narumi intends to meet him at 6pm for drinks but cannot finish her tasks on time. Hirotaka waits for her. During their drink, he offers to let her date him in exchange for help passing game levels. Excited by the offer, Narumi accepts his proposal.
