The narrative follows Vector Industries scientist Shion Uzuki, who tests the anti-Gnosis android KOS-MOS aboard the Woglinde spaceship. During a routine report, Shion observes the emulator and nearly touches it upon seeing a mysterious girl within. Unable to sleep, she visits the Realian maintenance room and discusses free will with a 100-Series Realian. Luis Virgil arrives, insulting the android, but Shion defends her. The situation escalates when Gnosis attack the Woglinde. The episode concludes with KOS-MOS self-activating amidst the chaos, following the initial disappearance linked to the golden rectangle artifact.
