After recovering from her cold due to Yamada’s care, Akane logs into FOS and meets the new guild member Tsubaki in her avatar form. The pair immediately attempt a boss battle but are defeated by the enemy's incredibly solid defense, failing to beat the time limit. Despite the loss, the shared experience strengthens the bond between Akane and Tsubaki. Following the game session, Akane contacts Yamada to seek strategic advice for defeating the boss. This consultation results in an unexpectedly lengthy phone conversation. Upon ending the call, Akane discovers renewed determination within herself to overcome future challenges.
