Hoichiro Ohma is an office worker known for his quiet and unassuming nature, even to those close to him like his girlfriend. Unbeknownst to others, he holds a hidden role: a Judge of Darkness. When a death occurs under suspicious or cursed circumstances, or when a case requires judgment, he intervenes. Using the Laws of Darkness, a book bound in human skin, and an unusual parrot, he delivers verdicts against living criminals who would otherwise escape punishment.
