Ep. 12: Ko Questions His Vampire Ambitions After a Disturbing Night
Disturbed by recent events, Ko doubts his desire to become a vampire. Nazuna reassures him that the starving vampire at school was an anomaly. After discussing the matter with Mahiru, who questions his motives, Ko seeks further advice. Nazuna reveals her long history as a vampire, noting the reality is less glamorous than imagined. Ko then consults Uguisu, who opposes his choice, claiming vampires threaten humanity. She issues an ultimatum: abandon his dream in exchange for her protection and knowledge on killing vampires. Ko firmly refuses, arguing that not all vampires are evil. In response, Uguisu reports him to the police for curfew violation. Ko escapes before authorities arrive and hides at a playground, where he is discovered by Hatsuka.
