Nate lacks a costume for the Halloween Parade while Bear, Eddie, and Katie wait. He and his Yo-kai companions discover his mother has transformed into a vampire-like creature. Nate identifies the Yo-kai Dracunyan as the culprit responsible for turning the entire town into similar beings. He recruits Bear, Eddie, and Katie, who remain uninfected, to help defeat Dracunyan. Nate reveals the existence of Yo-kai to his friends during this effort to reverse the town's condition.
