Kaito Tenjo, accompanied by his dragon, confronts Yuuya in the desolated city of Heartland. Yuuya argues that dueling should not be used for conflict, but Kaito demands a duel to prove otherwise. Shingo is provoked by Kaito's actions, while Noboru attempts to intervene and stop the confrontation. Consequently, a three-way duel erupts between Kaito, Yuuya, and Shingo. During the match, Kaito's dragon displays overwhelming strength, dominating the battle against the other participants.
