As Jean’s plans unfold, Yugo and Selena begin their duel. Yugo initially struggles with the resemblance between Selena and his childhood friend Rin, but he refocuses after taking damage. When Yugo attacks, the duel lane shifts course under Jean’s orders. Selena’s D-Wheel automatically follows the new path, but Yugo’s does not. He manually skids across to continue the match. Shortly after, the lane changes again just as Yugo approaches an Action Card. This sudden shift leads Yugo to suspect that someone is manipulating the duel. The battle proceeds amidst these unpredictable alterations to the track, with Yugo determined to overcome the interference and defeat his opponent.
