Yuugi, Kaiba, and Anzu find themselves separated from the rest of the group. The Big 5, excluding Oota, execute a plan to seize their bodies. During this conflict, Noa subjects Kaiba to psychological torture by brainwashing Mokuba. In the course of these events, Noa discloses his true identity as the biological son of Kaiba Gouzaborou. This revelation adds a personal dimension to the confrontation between the characters as the antagonists pursue their objective of body possession.
