Rafael maintains his lead over Yami Yugi during their duel, accusing him of being an evil Pharaoh responsible for global chaos. Rafael uses the Exchange spell card to give Yami Yugi the Seal of Orichalcos. Although initially hesitant, Yami Yugi plays the seal when he appears close to losing, despite Yugi’s advice. This action imprisons Yugi's spirit in an Orichalcos prison and allows Yami Yugi's inner darkness to consume him completely.
