Marik realizes his influence over Jonouchi is fading, allowing the weakened Red Eyes to survive and Yuugi to take the lead. However, the situation turns dire when Marik draws the Death Meteor card, seemingly extinguishing all hope. Meanwhile, in Battle City, Shizuka and Honda are rescued from the Rare Hunters by Otogi Ryuuji and Kujaku Mai.
