Upon discovering Jaden's status as the Supreme King, Jim initiates a duel to utilize the Eye of Oricalcum. He employs the artifact to peer into Jaden's mind, observing an internal conflict between his benevolent and malevolent halves. Jim attempts to bridge the gap to Jaden's true self, but his efforts are thwarted by a psychological barrier rooted in depression. Neither the influence of the Supreme King persona nor the counsel of Professor Viper proves effective in penetrating this defense, leaving Jim unable to reach Jaden directly during the confrontation.
