Jaden recognizes Fujiwara's deception as the antagonist disappears in a flash of light, leaving a feather behind. While Fujiwara investigates the empty Obelisk Blue dormitory, Jaden formally submits his withdrawal notification to Chancellor Sheppard. Sartorius and Kagemaru intervene to dissuade him, warning that they have sensed a rapidly approaching crisis. Despite their pleas, a mysterious man suddenly appears before the group, interrupting the tense confrontation and altering the course of events at the academy.
