In Den City, the hub for Link VRAINS cyberspace managed by SOL Technologies Inc., Yuusaku Fujiki duels as Playmaker against the Knights of Hanoi. He learns that SOL seeks a mysterious life-form called Ignis. With hacker Shouichi Kusanagi, Yuusaku captures Ignis and stores it in his duel disk. Recognizing the Knights of Hanoi also desire Ignis, Yuusaku devises a trap and prepares capture strategies to protect the entity.
