The merging of the Human and Barian Worlds causes Kaito’s body to endure the severe strain of the Barian's Field. A Barian trap amplifies the damage he receives, making every hit significantly more harmful until he finally collapses. Just as he falls, Yuma reappears with Astral alive and well. Mr. Heartland is visibly shocked and dismayed by this development. Yuma takes Kaito’s place in the duel, accompanied by Astral, and issues a challenge to Mr. Heartland for a final decisive battle.
