A boy is in love with his classmate and persistently tries to get closer to her, imagining a romantic future together. One day, he awakens with the thought that he is unworthy of her and begins to pull away, confusing her. She misinterprets his change in behavior and worries he no longer likes her. The story follows their ongoing misunderstandings as they both believe their affection is not returned.
