Yusuke Urameshi encounters Younger Toguro, who demonstrates his true strength in a parking garage. Yusuke receives an ultimatum: join the Dark Tournament in two months or face death for himself and his friends. The event is organized by human crime lords and features fierce apparitions. Unable to refuse, Yusuke and his allies begin a two-month training period. Later, Yusuke, Kazuma Kuwabara, Kurama, Hiei, and a mysterious masked fighter board a ship bound for the Dark Tournament grounds.
