Koenma informs Yusuke, Kuwabara, and Botan that the barrier breach will happen in one week because of its spherical shape. Yusuke and Kuwabara separate after Kuwabara chooses to attend a concert with his friends. Kurama visits Koenma, suspecting he knows the identity of the person plotting to destroy the barrier. Kuwabara and his friends are attacked by Kiyoshi "Seaman" Mitarai. Seaman traps Kuwabara's friends inside his aquatic creature, leaving Kuwabara in a critical situation due to his inability to use his powers.
