Minato is upset because his mother is away giving birth. Upon her return with the newborn, Minato is initially hesitant. However, his attitude changes instantly when he touches the baby, Gakuto, and begins to love him immediately. Mikoto becomes jealous because he notices Minato spending significantly more time with Gakuto than with him. This shift in attention causes Mikoto to feel neglected as his brother focuses entirely on the new addition to the family.
