Koji Nanjo, a young musician, becomes romantically involved with Takuto Izumi, a soccer player. Koji discovers that Izumi's mother was responsible for killing his father due to overwhelming emotions. Izumi has taken on the blame for the murder and avoids pursuing a professional career, fearing exposure of his past. He resents Koji's presence and the media attention that follows him, yet Koji remains drawn to Izumi, recognizing parallels between his own feelings and the intense love that led to the murder.
