Ep. 63: The team executes a delta formation to trap the Death Stinger for the gravity cannon strike.

63
The gravity cannon is prepared to engage the Death Stinger, but the enemy must remain stationary to absorb the full impact. The delta formation strategy is adopted, with Van, Irvine, and Thomas departing in their Zoids to position Van at the rear of the triangle. Upon completing the formation, a pyramid shield barrier forms, trapping the Death Stinger. The cannon fires, but the enemy breaks the shield with a Charged Particle Beam just before impact, destroying the shell. The fighters deduce that removing their shields allows more energy to be concentrated on the barrier. The battle resumes, and they eventually reform the delta formation, directing all available energy into the barrier to secure victory.
