While searching for a Generator mechanic, Ruuji encounters Kotona, whose friend Garaga is harassing her. To stop the harassment, Kotona asks Ruuji to pretend to be her fiancé. Garaga challenges Ruuji to a Zoid battle to win Kotona's affection. Ruuji engages in combat against Garaga's Deadly Kong. The fight is interrupted by Ra Kan before a winner can be determined.
