Ep. 9: Saki Intervenes in a Biker Gang Race and Reconciles Rivals Through Performance

Saki halts a conflict between Franchouchou and Dorami, led by Maria Amabuki, who faces a chicken race challenge from Korosuke toward a cliff at Mt. Kagami. Defying her mother Reiko Kirishima, Saki’s former friend and ex-boss, Maria accepts the bet. Reiko had retired after Saki died in a similar race in 1997. Saki substitutes for Maria on Reiko’s motorcycle, destroying it by exploding after clearing the cliff twice. Returning safely, Saki earns Maria’s respect after Reiko scolds her for the danger. The group celebrates the reconciliation between Reiko and Maria by hosting an idol concert attended by both biker gangs.
