Byakuya Ishigami was a Japanese astronaut who was residing on the International Space Station when the Petrification on Earth's surface occurred. He was a kind, playful, and mischievous man who always found a way to amuse himself and keep things lighthearted, no matter the stakes.

He was Senku Ishigami's adoptive father.
