Gekka is the single mother of Saki Yagiri and the head of the Yagiri house.
She is revealed to be the true identity of the rumored "Archery Girl", appearing at night near the location of the victims' homes and attacking random passersby with arrows. In reality, her shooting arrows at people was just Gekka defending herself against hoodlums trying to attack her. She is actually a Kyuukyuusha (救急者), a member of the organization opposing the secret assassin force, the Keisatsukan (刑殺官), and her appearing near the homes of the victims was her trying to protect them from the assassin.
