Laura is the daughter of Viscount Victor S. Arseid, known also as the "Radiant Blademaster" throughout the Empire. She practices the Arseid Swordsmanship from an early age and as such, she is sheltered and is oblivious to the things outside the way of swordsmanship. Hailed from Legram, The Lake Town, bound south of Kreuzen Province and is the vassal to House Albarea.

The "S" in her family's name is a homage to Lianne Sandlot's name, the Steel Maiden, and the last Sandlot to rule over Legram
