Formerly an engineer on the Atlas and a member of Dan's team, Bird left the Crusher trade to marry Kei, only to lose her shortly after their marriage. Following this tragedy, he joined the military, specializing in high-risk missions as part of the Intelligence Division's 2nd Section.
